There's never ever gonna be an "ethical" Silicon Valley in this environment. If you want your ethical AI then it's gonna require all these companies going belly up and crashing the economy because there's so much circular cash involved. I'm down with that. But do you think the American people are?

I think this more than anything is what floors me about all this shit. People saying "we want AI but without the guys in charge who are in charge now" and that is just not feasible. Can't happen. They would sooner hit self destruct than hand this shit over.
