The amount of passive voice headlines for NYT articles is so grating.

Fluorescent lights. (And not just “anxiety” but full on sensory overwhelm from the flickering and the sound which most non-autists apparently are able to screen out or just don’t perceive.)
Show PostBeen a helluva week and a half. My dog almost died and needed emergency surgery, and my daughter has what I believe must be COVID and has been coughing and vomiting for a week. Both seem to be getting better, but I am fucking exhausted. Anyway, that’s why I’ve been relatively quiet.
