Put glass doors on the bookcases. Game changer! I learned this growing up in a house with over 4,000 books. As soon as I moved away for uni my allergies stopped. Now I have tonnes of books, all nicely tucked away in Billy bookcases from ikea with glass doors. No problem!

Starting a Books of 2026 thread. First one I finished was Too Like the Lightning, which I adored. Hard sci fi, heavy on the politics and philosophy, a lot to keep track of. Plays with gender, neuroscience, religion, humanity in fascinating ways. I immediately bought the second one.
