You did say you 'don't see the problem', so I was pointing out why I think it's a problem. I don't think the onus should be on writers to search for their fic on every huge random google drive that's popped up in order to object.

It should be opt-in, but zero consideration of this point was given when people starting throwing up their entire drive of thousands of saved stories overnight. I don't want to argue with you because I'm tired of it too but I still disapprove of it happening.
