Heck of a closing day for Travis County early voters. A few major sites stay open until 10pm, but most have closed. Just over 44,500 Central Texans have passed through the polling place today. More than 4,000 per hour between 3-4 and 4-5pm. Cumulative total of over 424k through early voting.

Our defense gets a bad rap because we conceded so many goals this year when we had to throw people forward to help the anemic offense. At least it feels like we had so many daggers conceded on the counter down 1-0 or 2-1.

Still true. Through 226 matches all-time, when #AustinFC scores multiple goals, the team has only lost SEVEN times total across six seasons. Despite conceding more goals in 2026 than any prior season, I’ll struggle to ever pin unsuccessful seasons on the defense.
