As someone who’s been friends with Haley *and* Mallory as well as having had positive interactions with Abdul during his first campaign 8 years ago (I wrote a favorable analysis of his single payer proposal; he asked me to write a review of his book), I’m honestly just exhausted by this race.
Show PostHard tie between Michigan and Maine. I honestly believe those races would be far more confidently in our favor had Morris Katz and Fight Agency never got involved in either one. Now we're relying on the GOP to screw up worse than Platner, Jackson, El-Sayed, and Stevens have.
Show PostAbsolutely. The instraparty haggling and sore loserism in Michigan is way worse than Maine. That said, Mills could have stepped up a bit more. I didn’t expect Golden to show up though and he hasn’t. Blech. (BTW, Jordan Wood has been a champ.)
Show Postpeople not going to want to hear this but the fact that it’s Cenk’s idiot ad that helped set the Michigan intraparty stuff on fire goes a long way towards retroactively validating some of what I thought at the time were the more bullshit anti-Hasan Piker arguments
Show PostLike I guess I don't think that the primary purpose of conducting an interview in the New Yorker should be to own the interview subject. Not that some sharp questions aren't in order for someone like "Founder of Arab Americans for Trump", but not just nasty asides for their own sake.
