So the solution for now is to instead annoyingly switch out the entire iframe, like I have to do for the episodes (Since the episodes have different title cards for different languages, we can't just have one video with all the subtitles attached) 🙄

Spanish isn't enabled". Oddly it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Waiting longer doesn't fix it, either the player applies the language change or it doesn't immediately.

Alright spent way to many hours diving into this, adding console.logs everywhere and tormenting Claude as a last resort but this is a current bug with the Vimeo API. I'm using the correct semantics and Vimeo acts like the switch went through, but then when I check it says "nope!

In the meantime alas I'll have to reload the entire iframe if someone wants to switch the language via the language toggle (aka for less techy users who don't know how to switch the audio & subtitle language via the video player)

So turns out I've got issues, github issues that is! Ended up submitting the flaky language switch issue @ vimeo after hours of trying to debug. Been a while since I had to pull out that many good ol' console.logs!
