It's almost as if it's teaching people that this is just the cost of getting from A to B, whether you go through the effort to find a bike and walk to it—or just call a Lyft to your front door.

OK thank you. I don’t understand why this tax would apply and it seems preposterous and contrary to the fact that we should be encouraging folks to take bikes instead of less-efficient modes like rideshare cars

If you take an eDivvy for 10 minutes to ride 1.4 miles as a member, it costs $2.30, which in itself doesn’t seem all that cheap, but a non-member would pay $9.66?? That seems crazy
