Every time there is an irrational or destructive policy that goes against national public interest, one knows straight away it has been bought. Too many of Britains politicians are just middlemen or outright hustlers. The corruption is utterly sickening & so highly destructive.

My latest thing was taking advantage of Vinted promotional shopping rates to stock up on kid winter wear and winter bedding for the next couple years, which unfortunately means a series VERY bulky packages that left my neighbor teasingly asking about my online shopping habits

This is always an interesting dynamic to me in terms of gendered unpaid labor because men will be like "stop shopping you buy too much" without realizing that actually it's a question of "buy a ton once every week or two" or "trips to the store every other day because you ran out of something"

I live in a close courtyard so people have to know where we are. We don’t get the transactional tromping and distribution of some of the busier streets nearby. We can stop to chat with a parent, and let a kid twirl and properly show off the costume .. and we can marvel at the pet costumes.
