Ugh sorry this happened because it totally clicked together a thing in my head since I’d done some coverage of megachurch/youth evangelical music stuff in my brief journalism career just a few years before all this popped up.

i’m deleting that post because a lot of people are reading it in ways that i did not intend … because everyone brings their own background and perspective to a post. mine was that of a former music journalist who finds the way religion influences culture and vice versa to be interesting
