Someone in the first 10 minutes tries something, it doesn't work, and they naturally come to the exact wrong conclusion about why it didn't work, which makes everything an *enormous pain in the ass* for the entire rest of the game. It's great to see, I love it.

And then you find out this is because in the first 10 minutes, they tried 3 times to level up but kept hitting the wrong buttons and accidentally taking off their hat, and naturally concluded this meant they needed to find a new hat in order to level up.

You're like wait you never leveled up? You got to this point in the game without leveling up? Holy shit, that's impressive as hell. And they're like yeah for the first 50 hours I thought you could only level up when you were wearing a special hat.
