I used to carpool with him and his daughter in junior high for about a year. My dad and I would get breakfast at a diner near us (he lived in NoHo too), and then I’d ride to school with Walter and his daughter. My dad called it “My Breakfast with Chekov” RIP Walter, you were a cool dad.
