You can stop wording these titles like the claim is legit. We know they are lying.
Show PostI recently dissuaded a student (a teenager!) from trying untested, unregulated """"for research use"""" peptides to try & bulk up fast. This person genuinely asked "why would they be for sale if they weren't proven safe?" to which I said "that's why they have to pretend they're only for research."
Show Post“Most people have this naive assumption that if they’re on the shelf, they must have been tested and found safe…” Correct. Here’s the podcast if you want to listen. Trigger warning: he experiences psychosis and suicidal ideation. His life was almost ended.
Show PostHe described himself as a conservative who had been against “big pharma”. Then he became a victim of a wellness grift. He came to learn that when it comes to supplements, “Consumers have no confidence about what’s actually in the bottle”. This is what so many of us have tried to get across.
Show PostListening to the pod, I alternated between empathy and fury. The man had no idea that supplements aren’t regulated by the FDA. He just bought them from some random after he “researched” the peptides. Prior to this he was a big anti-pharma guy. Felt supplements were the way.
