This is why people who hold out hope that token prices staying high will prevent AI from disrupting their jobs are misguided. A focused effort on optimizing token costs away from frontier models can bring token costs down by 10x. As these stories spread, this will happen more often.

He's shown shitty judgment of late in a couple of key offcourt areas, but everything I've ever seen and heard from and about him on stuff like this reinforces the fact that at a foundational level, who LeBron is and how he treats people really hasn't changed from the 16-year-old kid I met in 2001.
