I wish she would’ve been able to give herself some of that care as well. But, I’ve also learned from my Mom how much knowing we were safe and cared for brings her immense peace, so maybe all of that love helped calm her soul. Hugs.

I miss her, she was imperfect and struggled a lot with her own self confidence and I wish I could have helped her with that more, and her struggle and decline with dementia was so horrible, but she was so giving and caring and loving I am so grateful to have had her. I love you mom, miss you a lot.

I didn't fully realize at the time what a huge lift that was for my mom, who did that sort of thing for me constantly so that I could have food I could eat and also have the included experience, like I knew it was special but in retrospect gods be damned she was a saint.
