like i think a lot of people end up reading it as particularly childish but tennas also somebody with such disablingly severe ptsd that he has a hard time navigating whats real and whats not. i dont think he is wrong for Asking for that kind of thing even if people think its weird or whatever.

considering tenna is somebody who is seeking a lot of personal comfort and care and safety i have to assume that the things like tucking him in + the bedtime programs are things hes probably specifically asked for too. its an emotional need for him

encompassing things like tucking him in and setting up his night programs. doing first aid. doing personal therapy. its caretaking! they are taking care of him. For better or for worse.
