"Submissions have doubled while downloads remain the same" is a factual statement; "...and that's bad" would stray into opinion. This is someone trying to appear neutral on a moving train by convincing their boss that the passengers have taken control of the locomotive.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say this looks like whoever runs the account is at odds with whoever calls the shots on the site, and they're posting like this to create exactly the "ban the sludge" reaction they want to effect change without getting in trouble about it

"But how do you enforce an AI ban? Wouldn't people just lie?" You do your best, take down what you can, limit new projects per email, and put "NO AI" in giant red text on the submission form. Users know it won't be perfect, but you show them you're trying
