Some of us in Canada are not turning our clocks back anymore. I'm not sure permanent daylight saving time is good, but apparently most wanted it. I would rather have permanent standard time.

I think for some countries it’s done to help prevent accidents with school children in the mornings as far as getting on buses in the dark or walking to school in the dark.
