Honestly it feels like adults have taken it over. From the outdoor displays to the over the top costumes it's not really focused on children's experience anymore.

I’m at my mom’s neighborhood and I’ve only seen one small group of kids. It’s nothing like it used to be. We were OUTSIDE on Halloween! Stranger danger and helicopter parenting probably has a lot to do with it.
