Truly one of the worst parts of being a journal handling editor is the pass-ag "Oh I noticed you have everything you need" from journal staff. Yes i know. I am busy. You're gonna have to wait and chill out a bit.
Show PostLike, I love the journal. It's great. Society run, good science, and excellent all-round. But the hyperfocus on "quick turn-around" when folks doing the work are volunteers is... unhelpful
