It's though. But even "Look we don't have an official enforcement policy but we reserve the right to remove any obvious AI Accounts as if they were any other type of spam and malware when we happen to notice it" is a signaling stance and that COULD MAYBE matter. Or maybe there is too much shit.

Even if generative AI had been created in an agreeable, ethical, nonprofit way purely for public benefit, and there were no downsides to its creation, you would still get 1000x more understanding and satisfaction and personal growth out of learning to make something yourself.
