Show PostThe social model should be how we approach disability and inclusion, but I’m also suspicious of people who use it as a pretext to be cheap. I wouldn’t have been able to fully break out of my vicious cycles without the medical too.
Show PostI have a lot of bones to pick with the diagnostic criteria, but my assessor was good. They spent a long time going through the different things that affect me and how they interact. The reasons for me not being autistic were persuasive and they did identify me as being alexithymic at the same time.
