as always, every kid trick-or-treating tonight was wonderfully polite. regardless of age. my favourite was the 5ish year old who was so excited about getting a bag of M&Ms (her favourite, apparently) that she insisted i take something from her bag of sweets in return.

This morning, all the stars aligned & I managed to fulfil a decades old dream/idea! It had been riddled with ADHD side quests & obstacles but today it worked! I found all the items I needed without having to dig for them 😂❤️ And, it worked 🥳 I printed an image straight onto cheesecloth 🤩

yes. día de muertos and halloween have been slowly and steadily converging in both countries since the mid 90s (at least?). My childhood día de muertos looked NOTHING like this. the family spent the day at the cemetery, beautifying my uncles' graves.
