It sounds like the accused is under professional care. I hope he gets the help he needs and does not harm himself. Now, what about the mental health of the victims?

I hope the court rejects this argument. I don’t know who the accused is & I don’t invite speculation on that point, but trying to use threats of self-harm to shut up victims of sexual assault is a form of coercive control. It is exactly what an abuser would do. www.theguardian.com/law/2026/oct...
