oh he gave me a lot of detentions (all earned, a lot for ankle socks), but I was one of his favorites so generally he would give them to me as a message to the rest of the class to not behave like I do and then he would tear them up or when I got there in the afternoon he would tell me to gtfoh.

He was awesome. The impossible quizzes were wild. The tests that were handwritten and Qs squeezed into tiny spaces and then photocopied still make me laugh. I once wore football pants under my uniform for a whole afternoon so when I had detention in his room I could go straight to practice after.

Really works if you run your hand through your hair & look like you may walk into ocean bc of your career choice, especially with 7th graders. They wanted to ruin your life, but also felt bad if they thought they actually had. Only had to use it like twice. "Oh no, act right, he did the thing!"

I would be fine, my teaching uniform is the same thing I wear every day now: Polo with white undershirt Khakis with black leather belt Tennis shoes with comfy socks In the winter, add a softshell jacket.
