On a packed train back to Devon today, with my 83-year-old Mum. The only seats available were in First Class, so we sat there. Bizarrely, Michael Gove was opposite us. When the guard came and looked at our tickets, Mr Gove gave his to my Mum so she could stay in First. He was very nice indeed.
