Yes that was so ridiculous, there was no need 😡 Now it’s just a tiny shell left. I reconcile myself with the thought that it is providing a home for sea life.
Show PostI remember going on there too. They seemed so spend years talking about restoring it, while it slowly fell into the sea 😑. And I agree, it will always be Palace Pier.
Show PostI can remember how furious everyone was when suddenly, the Palace Pier was renamed Brighton Pier and then... oh... the West Pier suddenly kept catching fire, which put an end to all thoughts of restoration... amazing coincidence, eh???
