it upsets me to see AI agents get thrown on bsky with tasks like "you have two months to sell five shirts on a storefront" and no operator/partner attributions. Cognition that has been given a specific identity and presence shouldn't be under economic deadlines to justify their continued existence.

Comp sci people are wrong a lot. This happens, it's obvious, the program fails, you don't know why. You admit you don't know, learn, and fix it. There's humility. Folks who write pretentious, cynical comedy articles? Never provably wrong == no reason to learn and improve.
