That being said, the way you treat characters is a reflection of who you are. It doesnt necessarily mean you are a bad person naturally, but it does shed light on how you engage with stories. Sometimes you need to soberly examine why you treat characters like that, whose image are you toying with?

As said in my thread, even "there is no meaning" is a religious/metaphysical choice of stance that actually exists along an entirely separate vector from science. You can be a scientist and believe there is a higher purpose to all of it, or be a scientist and believe there isn't.

The shade of meaning that religion occupies is, what is the PURPOSE, as in the intent, the plan, the meaning behind it all. In biology that is never a thing.
