“Adapt or die” has always been the rule when disruption threatens a profession. But where do you move when the disruptive force threatens every intellectual and creative pursuit? I have a 2y and 6y old. Do I still encourage them to study when they are older?

Really, this is just one of a hundred features I was shocked to find that one of the foremost game engines doesn't have once I started traditional game dev and coding with Unity and C#. I believe there is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to standard game development toolkits.
