Cake number 1! These are all four inch cakes, so they’re small and I think that was part of the problem. It’s much harder to decorate small cakes. I don't know how I feel about this one. It’s fine-ish, but feels sloppy. Especially the spider on top. Always 11 year said it looked cool. Idk, idk.

I read a story from one of the years she was umpiring in the Northwest League. She didn't travel with her umpire partner, she drove around in a van with her dog. That's a really lonely life, a really lonely way to try to find a place in baseball.
