i missed "millennial optimism" when it apparently originally happened. i mean, 1 year out of HS and 9/11 happened, then we had 2 Bush presidencies in a row, the patriot act, abu ghraib, daniel pearl; Obama did 8 years of deportations, drone strikes and banker kickbacks when was the optimism again?
