In 2014, at Dragon Con in Atlanta, the Make-A-Wish Foundation arranged for Patrick Stewart to meet 11-year-old Star Trek fan Dawn Garrigus, who was dressed as Mr Spock. Patrick spent 15 mins talking with Dawn, who had a life-threatening mitochondrial disease, and later gave her a shout-out on stage.
