One thing I loved most about Barcelona is its public transit and bike infrastructure. But what makes a lot of it work is pedestrians and drivers with slavish adherence to walk/don't walk signals at crosswalks. And almost no jaywalking.

Minnesota is looking like the best bet so far as states that are more chill about trans people and doesn't seem to have a bunch of "progressive" politicians doing a transphobic heel turn (at least not yet)
