Umberto Eco - Name of the Rose (c. 08/31): It took me all summer to read but it was worth it. HUGE recommendation. I dont understand how this book was a best-seller in the 80s because for every page-turner element there's like pages of debates over historical events and Catholic doctrine.

I'm flipping through the replies. For folks asking about attorney sanctions for the tree removal, for reasons of due process there must have been an order that was clear and reasonably specific that was then violated. Unfortunately, there was not one before the tree removal.
