Sure, RAM and compute in general would probably indeed end up being used more efficiently within a few centralized data centers than within millions of PCs however that point is IMO far less relevant than ensuring network resilience by not centralizing all compute in just a few points of failure.

Das liegt vermutlich daran, dass es zunehmend schwerer wird, andere Interviewpartner zu finden, die das sagen, was die Interviewer hören wollen.  Von Social Media lernen: nur nicht aus der eigenen Blase heraustreten!
