People aren't fooling around: I stopped by the ballot box to drop off my wife's envelope and an older lady in front of me was taking a picture of her hand putting the ballot in the slot. 🪶🎃 (2/2) They sit tight & rely on their excellent camouflage when a potential predator (you) nears. Ruffed Grouse often don't flush until you're right on top of them, exploding from the ground in a rush of wingbeats like a feathered jack-in-the-box. Some refer to them as the heart attack ❤️ bird.
