I think it took Patrick Stewart time to come to terms with being so beloved for a science fiction tv show. You go back and watch his SNL monologue, he's clearly wanting to draw a distinction between himself and the whole star trek thing. I'm glad he learned to embrace it all & what it gave him.

It’s really important that every news outlet stresses that neither Trump nor Mike Johnson has any say whatsoever in whether elected members of Congress are seated. The fact they’re talking about trying to invalidate results is newsworthy, obviously, but it shouldn’t be treated as a fait accompli.
