Not been for a long time. Old Trafford's a tourist experience these days. But I'd still happily be in that away end given the chance. Guaranteed the ones who'd paid £500 for the day, filming corners were the first to leave at 2-0 down. They wouldn't have been seen dead at a football match way back..

Couldn’t agree more, mate. But, I was mithering various folk for a brief for today. On the one hand I look at football today and think nah, fuck that. On the other I remember the magic of being a just a little part of MUFC.

The lads in the away end singing the United Calypso for the last 25 minutes today was, for me, what United were, and always will be. No matter who owns the club, however the team is performing, whoever the manager may be. They come and go. 'Football taught by Matt Busby' will outlast them all.
