Tonight in jarring mistakes: I used Claude Code in 2025/early 2026 cuz I was having trouble with seo spam for argand.org and spam generally. I kinda just forgot it did that, cuz, like, I didn't see anything Claude code did? I didn't know what it made? Anyway, it put a hard block on "Buy Now".

Yeah, that's definitely the counter-point, but agentic coding does not reason like a person does, cannot make intuitive leaps or exhibit broad structural-systemic understanding. Which is what all tech debt becomes, eventually.

Same. Excitement for agentic coding among my coworkers seems inversely proportional to their coding skill level

For now the models provide enough of a moat. Not entirely sure that sustains itself in the long run with the external forces to find efficiencies in hardware and open source models. Maybe an innovators dilemma would take years to play out, but agentic coding is going to slash that timeline a lot
