I think the problem is it’s half gen z style bc they can’t get (or won’t, and fair) the same cut of jeans and tightness of tops. same reasons my parents despaired at my 80s day outfit when I was in HS

As a Gen Z myself I've never heard of this clothing style before but it just screams "party before the end of the world that we didn't even know was coming". I'm more sort of a casual emo type guy :3
