It's really frustrating that the thing that makes Itch so special - that it will host anything from student games and jam projects to more experimental and transgressive forms of art - also makes it *especially* vulnerable to mass slop uploads.

Not that there wouldn't be issues with any ruling, but the great thing about banning AI slop from itch is that the AI people can just vibe code their own itch, and when it dies because the dev gets bored, it won't take out any game of value. Most devs won't even realize it happened.
