Completely agree. Encouraging children who are most likely gay or lesbian that they are in the “wrong body” is almost dystopian.

'Conversion practices' is such a deliberate misnomer in this context. The conversion implicit in a person being 'affirmed' into adopting a trans identity is completely ignored. A conversion is deemed to exist only if there is a risk of that initial conversion being reversed.
