I can only speak for my verrrry passing involvement with Chicago YIMBYdom but I’m constantly impressed by how much talent, effort, and impact these folks have and how thoughtful and expert they are. It’s inspiring and humbling. Makes it very easy to want to invest in them.

The leftist housing orgs also just completely swamp the YIMBY movement in total donations. It’s gotta be at least 10:1. PolicyLink is bringing in literally 10x what California YIMBY brings in. The YIMBY movement is *very* grassroots and poorly funded compared to its detractors from the left.
