A hill I will die on is that Halloween is the best american holiday because it’s the only truly community-oriented one. Trunk or treat is bad because Halloween is our culture’s main way to teach children to meet their neighbors.

For real!! Now its trunk or treat crap, so they can get it done in ten minutes and not have to get off their huge asses. Like taking a walk with your own children is some kind of punishment. 🙄
