cut to the bone in the last five years, when publishing was making RECORD profits. When I criticise publishing I’m not talking about overworked people on a salary who love books, but a system in which pressure is exerted from above - & writers are on the bottom, with tasks & blame falling on them.

Enjoyed the traitors. Been said many times but its a throwback to a time of watching TV at the same time as everyone else. I'd imagine the winners charities are annoying all the right people on the other place.
