the problem is that this groups a bunch of guitar bands with a very wide band of actual popularity; much as i love ted leo & the RX, it's insane to group them with someone like the yeah yeah yeahs and the strokes. also, arguing by sales only is like arguing that the velvet underground didn't matter

They funneled $30k in dark money to Kang PAC & sent out printed mailers THAT SAME DAY with Nelson's "nonprofit" SeaFor listed on the mailer as the top donor. The mailers went out, so even if they get that $30k refunded the crime already happened
