Same thing with with "Mormon is a slur" thing. The organization ran a multimillion dollar ad campaign calling themselves Mormons just 10 years ago! Those fucking assholes expect everyone to join them in their world of make believe where we all records and memories of their actions.

LDS had the misfortune to be founded at a time whose newspapers and letters are still available to us. If Joseph Smith and Brigham Young died 1000 years ago, it'd be a lot easier for them to deny how evil they were.

Oh, the mission leader definitely did NOT want that exposure! Missionaries really are not well equipped to handle actual theology or religious history. They are so young, and their training is way more about reinforcing what their church wants, and indoctrinating them (& sales training).
