I do think every generation should remember to challenge what they see online as an example of whatever a time period was like, though. Like tv and movies are advertisements created by teams not documentaries on actual cultural attitudes, don't get hoodwinked by a writers room
Show PostI was absolutely optimistic in 2008 about something good happening but then they started putting all these weird articles in the newspaper about how much millenials sucked. I was 18 so it took me a while to absorb that as a sign that perhaps the powers that be were not on board with good things
