I’ve been able to avoid it at work so far (I’m very fortunate that my 2nd level seems to be fairly skeptical of the tech), but this is what I would do. Why assume that the text generator will continue to generate the right text indefinitely when you could have it generate a script once instead?

Please don't ignore that no generation has as much free time as the Boomers had. GenX regularly works overtime every week, and Millenials and GenZ are holding down two and sometimes 3 jobs. That leaves no time or energy for consistent volunteering.

... but none of that can be entirely separated from the impact that employers and jobs have on volunteering. For example, it's very rare today for companies to reward employees for volunteering -- or even give them time off to do so.
